PicoSure® PRO tattoo removal
In the past, tattoo removal has been a painful and lengthy process for patients suffering from tattoo regret. Thankfully, at MD TLC™ we now have a much more advanced technology available to remove just about any tattoo. The PicoSure® PRO laser is the most advanced system available for tattoo removal. PicoSure® PRO works by using PressureWave technology to shatter targeted ink into tiny particles that are then eliminated by the body. This amazing system is capable of quickly removing the full-spectrum of colored inks.
If you are considering tattoo removal, the PicoSure® PRO system has been noted to be less painful than other methods. The majority of patients say this treatment feels similar to getting a tattoo, but for a much shorter duration. If necessary, a cooling anesthetic can be applied or you can take advantage of Pro-Nox™, a patient-controlled analgesic, to alleviate any discomfort. PicoSure® PRO laser tattoo removal treatments have few side effects, typically including a sunburn-like sensation and some temporary skin whitening. Most people are able to resume their normal activities immediately following treatment with no downtime required.
PicoSure® PRO tattoo removal treatments vary with size and color. Generally, at least four to six appointments are needed to completely remove the tattoo, which is significantly less than with other tattoo removal systems.
