What is Xeomin®?

Can I switch if I’ve had BOTOX® or Dysport® in the past?
Yes! Since Xeomin® behaves in the same physiologic method as BOTOX® and Dysport®, the products can be considered interchangeable. The amount of Xeomin® used will most likely differ from your previous experiences with rival products, so do not be surprised. The most important point to consider is the experience level of your practitioner.
BOTOX® and Dysport® stopped working; will Xeomin® work?
Xeomin® is considered a “naked injectable,” meaning that it does not contain the protein additives that are ingredients of BOTOX® and Dysport®. This means that if you are one of the rare individuals who has developed antibodies to the protein additives in BOTOX® or Dysport®, Xeomin® may work for you.

Xeomin® vs. BOTOX® and Dysport®: What’s the difference?
Xeomin®, Dysport®, and BOTOX® are products that address the same target areas of your face, however there are a few differences. Xeomin® is a “naked injectable,” meaning that it is pure, contains no additives and consists of only one ingredient, botulinum toxin A.
With this slightly different manufacturing process, the likelihood of a patient developing a resistance to Xeomin® is diminished. Xeomin®, because it contains no additives, does not need to be refrigerated. The lack of refrigeration does not affect patient outcomes.
When will I see results?
It may take three to seven days for the full effects to appear, giving you a refreshed appearance. Dr. Quibell is a well-known authority on the effects and will educate you on the appropriate use for your unique aesthetic goals during your consultation.
What are the benefits?
Results are dependent on the areas treated. However, your overall facial expression may be one of greater relaxation and alertness.
