How does MD TLC™ treat varicose veins?

The appearance of protruding veins can leave you feeling unhappy with your body. Varicose veins can appear at any time for various reasons and can seriously distract from the beauty of your skin. If you struggle with this condition, our vascular laser treatments may be right for you.

Varicose veins (bulging veins) require an invasive surgical procedure that is usually done in a surgical office. We treat small leg veins (3 millimeters or less) with a deep penetrating vascular laser. Typically, 2 to 3 treatments are needed to improve the appearance of leg veins, although individual patient experience may vary.

What causes varicose veins?

Varicose veins form when too much pressure is put on certain parts of your body. These twisted veins invade your skin, particularly as you get older, appearing unpleasant and sometimes accompanied by discomfort. Certain factors, like your age, weight, and genetics, can increase your risk of developing this issue.
