What is RADIESSE®?
RADIESSE® is a dermal filler that restores fullness helping you to achieve a more youthful appearance. This FDA-approved filler is used primarily to treat areas with obvious signs of facial aging. The unique gel formula contains microspheres of calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA), a natural occurring component found in your body. The microspheres immediately add volume to your skin, smoothing wrinkles while they continue to stimulate your body’s own collagen production, helping to revive and refresh your features in a natural way.

What can I expect during treatments?
RADIESSE® is a FDA approved dermal filler that has undergone rigorous safety testing. A topical or local anesthetic may be used during your injection to ensure comfort during the treatment. RADIESSE® is injected with a needle beneath the skin, guided by the skilled hand of Dr. Quibell. She may offer patient-controlled Pro-Nox™ or apply a topical anesthetic to minimize discomfort during the session. There may also be some mild swelling or redness near the injection site for the first few days following treatment, however, most patients can resume normal activity 24 hours following the procedure.
