Our three Zone devices employ a third-generation Photocatalytic Oxidation (PCO) system that releases ionized hydrogen peroxide which is safe to breathe and runs 24/7. This system purifies both air and surfaces dramatically reducing bacterial and viral contamination. When you visit our practice, you can rest assured that your treatments are being delivered in a clean and safe environment.
How Does The Purification System Work?
The Zone utilizes a six metal-coated catalyst cell to bounce light wavelengths. This process forces the creation of High Energy Clusters (HECs) and Advanced Oxidizers. This ionized hydrogen peroxide gas attacks microbes throughout the environment, cleaning the surrounding air and surfaces without releasing any harmful ozone. Ionized hydrogen peroxide is self-regulating, so levels can not climb too high. It diffuses into every crack and crevice to eliminate microbes where they live.
How Will This Protect Me from Infection?
The Zone devices installed at MD TLC™ have been successfully tested and have previously proven to be effective in deactivating the H1N1 (Flu) virus which has a similar structure to COVID-19.
